Mithil Pawar

Mithil Pawar is a former Senior Analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. In this role, Mithil structured and executed M&A and debt financing deals for private equity firms covering the Asia-Pacific region. Notable transactions include: US$575MM acquisition of Unisteel (Singapore-listed company active in the technology space) by KKR and related bank debt financing (executed), US$1Bn buy-out of Macau-based gaming company (on-hold), US$600M MBO of a Singapore-listed food processing company (on-hold).
Prior to his move to Hong Kong, Mithil was a member of the Morgan Stanley Offshore Investment Banking Department in Mumbai. In that capacity, he worked with Financial Sponsors IBD teams in London, San Francisco, New York and Hong Kong on select business development and execution assignments.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mithil worked at Deekay & Partners in Pune as a trainee in the Audit and Ttaxation Division.
Mithil received a Bachelors in Commerce in 2004 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ranking 37 of approx. 20,000 in the final examination) in 2005 Mithil is SFC Paper 1 certified and speaks English, Hindi and Marathi fluently
